Every Vanguard board uses closed-cell EVA or PE foam with a sealed skin, so buoyancy stays constant from day one to year three.
Our EVA foam is expanded under controlled temperature and pressure to produce a uniform closed-cell matrix at 45-80 kg/m³. The sealed outer skin prevents water ingress, so the board never gains weight or harbors mold. Foam batches are density-tested before cutting, and finished boards pass a 24-hour immersion test for water absorption below 3% 体積で.
